How does the Brix 3000 method work?
Brix 3000 enables the gentle and atraumatic removal of caries using an enzymatic gel.
The gel is poured into the tooth affected by caries and gently massaged in for two minutes. This softens the carious areas in the tooth so that they can then be easily removed with a small tooth spoon. With this procedure, the healthy tooth substance remains intact and a filling can be placed immediately afterwards.
This treatment method is particularly recommended for anxious children, as it does not involve the use of conventional drills. This eliminates the loud noise and vibration that many children associate with anxiety. This makes the treatment much more comfortable for our young patients.
Please note that the costs for the Brix 3000 treatment are not covered by health insurance.
